He has treated patients of all ages and types - from weekend warriors to elite athletes, and tailors his approach according to each person’s needs.

He has engaged in continuing education to sharpen his skills since graduating. He became Credentialed in the McKenzie Method (MDT) in 2015. In 2018, he received the International Diploma in MDT, the highest level of training offered by the McKenzie Institute that involved 3 months of rigorous scientific study and a 2 month clinical placement supervised by expert instructors in a UK hospital. There are fewer than 20 physiotherapists in Canada who currently hold this designation. He regularly assists in courses offered by the McKenzie Institute, helping other clinicians improve their skill set.

David believes strongly in providing his patients with efficient and individualized care, supported by up-to-date scientific literature. One of his main philosophies is to promote effective self-management skills, so recovery is as swift as possible and patients have the tools to prevent future episodes. When not in the clinic, he enjoys hiking with his dog, running, and hockey.
